Will explore how our understanding of artefacts and places are intimately connected with and through the body. Drawing from diverse fields, such as skateboarding to illustrate both the nature of interaction and the re-appropriation of public space, the lecture will conclude by showing examples of where interaction designers have sought to reconnect the body to the artefact.
